In order to form a one-stop shop for its customers both online and in-store, H&M has announced the launch of its beauty products. Before you get too excited, the launch is expected in all its stores worldwide this autumn, and it will include a full range of make-up as well as haircare, bodycare and beauty tools.
This is following in the footsteps of TopShop Beauty, which launched 5 years ago.
The launch comes at a time when beauty products are ever-evolving having to cope with products to suit different looks and seasons. It is great that they are yielding to the market demands and being part of the evolving trend, otherwise they will lag behind their competitors.
In 2013, lipstick was said to be the highest product in demand….
The launch comes at a time when make-up is more important than ever for personal style, whether the look is natural, classic or fashion-forward…
Nearly everyone of makeup age, wears makeup these days. To be able to have access to affordable beauty products whilst shopping from your favourite fashion store is fantastic.
We are happy for H&M about their new beauty products launch as this will no doubt increase their customer base and revenue as well.
We are very excited to have ‘fashion for the face’ on offer at H&M. It’s an opportunity to be inventive, creative and to have fun with colours”, says Sara Wallander, concept designer at H&M Beauty.
Other high street stores that already have their own beauty range include Primark P.S. Love Beauty, Next (Make Me Beautiful), Marks and Spencer (Autograph range) is said to be both stylish and of good value. Bearing in mind that most of the beauty products are within reach starting from about £2, making them really affordable so you don’t have to dip into your pockets.
How will they compare with Avon which has all the beauty range and yet at affordable prices?
Which of these have you used or are still using?
How do the qualities compare with the luxury cosmetics if you have used those as well?
