According to M&S, the Alexa Chung & M&S Collaboration to form “Archive By Alexa“, is the first of the three collaborations with the “M&S &” series launching in spring 2016.
Of course celebrity collaborations with High Street stores are nothing new; the aim is to draw awareness to their collection.
Marks and Spencer is known for its quality design which until now are tailored towards the older generation. It is not surprising to see the pairing with Alexa Chung in order to get the younger generation involved with M&S designs; hence using Alexa to do this is spot on.
‘I want to highlight to younger people who didn’t grow up in the Eighties all the dependable, classic, practical things that first took me to M&S,’ she says.”
